We at The Freeman Foundation are excited to announce our new 23 Blast giving campaign. On April 15 of this year the movie was released on Netflix. To celebrate this release, and to commemorate this summer being the 23rd anniversary of me losing my sight, we are asking people to give “23 for 23.” In this campaign we are looking for 23 people to commit to giving $23 a month for one year. So why should you choose to give your hard earned money to The Freeman Foundation in this way? Below are six reasons why.
•Your giving is a commitment to help us accomplish our mission to promote the truth that disability does not equal inability.
•Your giving will help us support Ashca, the orphanage in Haiti that serves children with disabilities.
•Your giving will allow us to host more blindfolded 5K’s and dinners in the dark.
•Small monthly donations can make a huge difference.
•Monthly donations of a small amount, from multiple people are better than one large donation from one person.
•Monthly donations allow us to plan and budget.
If you are interested in joining us in this campaign click here, and sign up to give a monthly contribution of $23. Note that you must sign up on a computer because the mobile Papal sight does not give you the option to make a reoccurring payment. We hope that you will join us on our journey to raise awareness of the needs and potential of people with disabilities.
